Dog Patch Labs (map)
Welcome to the summer of Hackers and Founders San Francisco! From June-ish to August we will meet once a month and hope to continue the tradition this fall.
The Schedule:
The meetup runs from 6pm to 9pm, and we need to be out the door by 9:30pm.
Payment:
The Location:
Dog Patch Labs is on the second floor of the Pier 38 building.
Following are new directions:
Walk into the garage and follow the trail of signs to the side door. Go upstairs to the second floor and we will be to your left at the (unlabeled) "Pirate Bar."
You've reached the right place when you find people drinking beer with "Hello" name tags on. Think of it as a speakeasy for Hackers and Founders. :) The secret pass phrase is "Where are the geeks and beer?"
The Agenda:
It's about hanging out, having a beverage and talking about...
* Shiny technologies we're playing with
* Startups we founded or are thinking about
* Stuff we read about on Hacker News
* The latest startup news
...among other things.
It's all pretty low key and casual with no scheduled presentations.
What to do when You Get There:
We will have a welcome table with name tags on it, so please put one on. Anyone else wearing a name tag is fair game!
The organizers and host will be wearing special name tags. Feel free to introduce yourself to any one of us.
We need a few volunteers
We could use a few people to help set up and clean up afterwards. If you're able to help, email Laura
Thanks:
A very special thanks to David Hegarty, Founder and CEO of Hollrr.com for making arrangements with Polaris Ventures for us to use the space. He's put in a lot of work on this and we are very grateful.
