I'm a technology guy who's worked in engineering and marketing. I've been an executive however I'm 80% hands on, so I prefer startups. In the past 5 years I've started a company and worked at a funded RFID startup.

What is the project/startup you're working on now? Tell us a little bit about it.
My startup from 2006 is getting new life in a social entrepreneur context. We make web audio content available over regular, old cell phones. This enables farming information to be pushed to poor, rural markets, increasing productivity and returns.

What technologies excite you?
GWT and java dependency injection. In my day job we are creating a browser-based mapping system. I've discovered OpenLayers and Geoserver. But GWT pulls it together. Add Google guice/gin and it's extremely interesting (meaning: do a lot, fast).
